General comments
Behandeling is gebaseerd op zowel het orthopedisch/chirurgisch beleid als geisoleerde micro-organismen. Antibiotische behandeling in overleg met arts-microbioloog.
Overweeg in overleg met arts-microbioloog switch naar orale antibiotica na 7 dagen indien micro-organisme gevoelig voor een antibioticum met een goede weefsel/bot penetratie en geen contraindicatie voor orale therapie.
Bij verwijdering OSM: duur antibiotische therapie 6 weken
